A million thanks go out to all our customers, friends and donators – with all your support, IMPACT Wear was able to make the world a little better.
In 2009, we were able to donate roughly 56% of our total turnover and we believe we can at least keep that share for 2010 (our consultants are still calculating and evaluating). Big thanks go to all our supporters who help us in many ways!
Which projects benefited from IMPACT donations?
We supported SKATEISTAN, which is Afghanistan’s first official skateboard school, located in the capital Kabul. However, they teach the kids down there much more: it’s all about education, training and about leading a life with respect and dignity in difficult circumstances.
Another organization we support is VIVA CON AGUA de SANKT PAULI, founded by a former soccer pro, Benjamin Adrion. The organization aims at providing drinking water to as many people as possible. IMPACT Wear supported a drinking water facility for a school in Burundi.
We also supported ROOM TO READ, an organization which fights illiteracy in Asia. We donated money to pay for school fees for little girls in Cambodia.
The first project we supported in 2010 was setting up the „Work and Box Company“, Stuttgart. Again, teenagers are provided guidance in finding their way to a life where education as well as respect for oneself and others matter.
