SOCIAL INVESTMENTS – How and whom IMPACT helps
IMPACT created the social value chain and use the profit for good and donate it into social investments.
The money we make from selling our clothes will be donated – obviously after we covered our costs. The projects we support need to be sustainable, transparent and economically and ecologically reasonable.
We think it’s important that we want to support projects which help people helping themselves and which emphasize chances over risks. This is why we rather “invest” than “donate”. The projects we mainly support aim at the following core topics:
- environment,
- education and training,
- sustainable economical development and
- medical education, training and support.
Since we do not dare to distinguish where suffering is greater – in the so-called first or third world, there are people suffering here as well as there. This is why we try to help people in both regions alike. More information can be found in our Corporate Transparency Report and on the website of our charity partner, betterplace.org.
Investing the profit into social projects
We invest – without asking for return on investment – approx. one quarter of our profit into projects from our customers’ home countries (meaning, mostly Europe). The remaining three quarters are invested all over the world, wherever reasonable and feasible.
