What exactly is IMPACT Wear?
IMPACT Wear is a non-profit fashion label. We produce quality garments and sell these online. We donate the profit we make from selling (after covering our costs, of course) to social projects all over the world.
What do you mean by “profit“?
Even we have to cover our costs; after all we want to run IMPACT for as long as possible. We cover our costs – but the profit after covering our costs (current and future) will be donated. We calculate on a cost per item base and deduct our costs, therefore summing up the difference between turnover and the "profit" which is then available for social investments. We aim to maximize that sum by optimum cost efficiency, but guarantee that at least one third of our turnover will be given to social investments.
On the website there’s a lot of talk about “social investment“ – what does it mean?
We don’t like talking about “donations“. We invest in social projects, means, we expect a real outcome – however, we do not expect a financial return on investment. The return is that we improved some people’s lifes at least a little.
How do I see what happens with the IMPACT money?
Together with our auditors we will produce the “Corporate Transparency Report“. There you’ll find more information on how and how much money we spend on social projects. Where do I find out more about the projects supported by IMPACT?

Can I purchase IMPACT garments in stores?
Nope, IMPACT Wear is only available in the IMPACT online webstore.
Are IMPACT garments produced in a fair way?
Yes, IMPACT garments are fairly produced; our main partner is even a founding member of the Fair Wear Foundation; the main production facilities are in India. When it comes to accessories, we are almost there guaranteeing full eco-standards.
